This manual is a set of SimpleText documents with hypertext links. The hypertext links allow you to read the main Font Box Manual and jump to a particular topic by opening a link. You can install HyperBox to use the links as described below or open the documents manually.
To Install HyperBox
Drag and drop the ~HyperBox extension onto the closed System folder. A message appears asking if you want ~HyperBox placed in the Extensions folder, click ‘OK’. If you don’t see this message, drag ~HyperBox into the Extensions folder in the System folder.
If you have an Extension Manager (Now Startup Manager, Conflict Catcher, Extensions Manager, etc.), open the Manager and make sure ~HyperBox is enabled.
After you’re sure ~HyperBox is in the Extensions folder, restart your Mac to load it. After restarting, open this document to continue.
To Update the Links
When you receive files with HyperBox links, you need to update the links so the files can be located on your computer. Select ‘Update Links…’ from the HyperBox Menu on the right side of the menu bar and select this document – ‘About the Manual’.
To Open Links
Select (highlight) the blue underlined hypertext link. Then select ‘Open Link’ from the HyperBox menu to jump to the selected topic. Or, select ‘Show Links…’ to display a list of all the links in the current document and double-click a link to open it.
Printing
These documents are fully editable. You can change the font, edit the text, and add your own notes. Feel free to select a font you prefer before printing.
